Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Terminal Champion macOS application and the terminalchampion.com website (together, the "Service"). The Service is operated by Camis AI LLC ("We", "Us", "Our"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Note: These Terms work together with Our End User License Agreement and Privacy Policy. The EULA has the detailed warranty disclaimers and liability limits that apply to your use of the App; read it before you install.

1. Acceptance

By downloading, installing, or using the App or the website, you represent that you are at least 13 years of age and that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

2. License

Your license to use the App is granted in Our End User License Agreement. Your use of the website is governed by these Terms.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law or regulation;
Use the Service to attempt to access systems, data, or accounts you do not own or do not have explicit permission to access;
Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App, except to the extent applicable law expressly permits;
Interfere with, disable, or disrupt the operation of the Service;
Use the Service to build a competing product that substantially reproduces its functionality.

4. Third-Party Tools and AI Agents

Terminal Champion is a terminal wrapper. Anything you run inside it — shells, ssh, docker, git, AI coding agents, scripts — is governed by that tool's own license and terms of service. We are not a party to those licenses and have no responsibility for the behavior, availability, or output of those tools. Your responsibility for every command those tools execute is described in detail in Section 4 of the EULA.

5. Disclaimer of Warranty and Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." All warranty disclaimers and liability limits applicable to your use of the App are set forth in Sections 6 and 7 of the EULA and are incorporated into these Terms by reference. Please read those sections carefully before using the App.

6. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the Developer and Our affiliates, licensors, and contributors from and against any claims, damages, liabilities, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your use or misuse of the Service; (b) any commands executed in or through the App; (c) your violation of these Terms or the EULA; (d) your violation of any applicable law; or (e) your violation of any third party's rights.

7. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may, in Our sole discretion, modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service, in whole or in part, at any time without notice. Sections 3 through 6, 8, 9, and 10 survive termination.

8. Mac App Store Additional Terms

If you obtained the App from the Mac App Store, the following additional terms apply:

These Terms are concluded between you and the Developer only, and not with Apple Inc. ("Apple").
The Developer, not Apple, is solely responsible for the App and its contents.
Apple has no obligation whatsoever to provide any maintenance or support services with respect to the App.
In the event of any failure of the App to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price (if any) for the App to you. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Apple will have no other warranty obligation with respect to the App.
The Developer, not Apple, is responsible for addressing any claims relating to the App, including product liability claims and claims that the App fails to conform to any applicable legal or regulatory requirement.
The Developer, not Apple, is responsible for the investigation, defense, settlement, and discharge of any third-party intellectual property claims.
You represent that you are not located in a U.S. Government embargoed country, and are not listed on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
Apple and Apple's subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms. Upon your acceptance, Apple will have the right (and will be deemed to have accepted the right) to enforce these Terms against you as a third-party beneficiary.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States of America, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Nothing in this section limits any mandatory consumer-protection rights available to you under the laws of your place of residence.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be noted by updating the "Last updated" date above and, where practical, noted in the App's release notes. Your continued use of the Service after any update constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
