Terminal Champion is developed by Camis AI LLC (the "Developer"). This Privacy Policy covers the Terminal Champion family of apps — including the macOS edition and the iPhone edition, Terminal Champion SSH Mobile — and describes what information they handle, how they handle it, and your choices. Where behavior differs by platform, we say so.
In plain English: Terminal Champion runs entirely on your device. We do not operate servers, do not collect analytics, do not track you, and never receive your data. Optional cross-device features use your own private iCloud — never our servers. Every piece of state you see in the app lives on your device, under your control.
Terminal Champion does not collect, store, or transmit any of the following to the Developer, to any affiliate, or to any third party:
We have no servers, no back-end database, and no ability to collect your data — by design. The apps use no advertising or tracking SDKs, and the iPhone edition does not request tracking permission because it does not track you.
So that Terminal Champion can restore your workspace between launches and function as a terminal workspace, the App stores the following information locally on your device only:
If you save a connection's password or private-key passphrase, Terminal Champion stores that secret in the operating system's native credential store — the macOS Keychain on Mac and the iOS Keychain on iPhone, via the cross-platform keyring mechanism — protected by your device passcode and biometrics. Credentials are never transmitted off your device by Terminal Champion and never written to plaintext disk.
Process and auto-detection state (current agent, working directory, running foreground command) is held in memory while the App runs and is not written to disk in any identifiable form.
The data described in Section 2 is used exclusively to:
None of this data is used for advertising, analytics, profiling, or any purpose unrelated to the core functionality of the App.
The iPhone edition offers optional features that pair with your Mac and sync a small amount of data between your own devices. When you enable them, they use Apple's iCloud (CloudKit) and store data only in your private iCloud database — they never send data to the Developer, and we cannot read it:
Your use of iCloud is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy. These features are inactive unless you pair your devices, and you can turn them off in Settings.
The iPhone edition requests the following permissions only for features you use, and only with your consent. None is used for background data collection, tracking, or analytics:
Terminal Champion itself does not share any data with any third party. Terminal Champion is a terminal wrapper, which means you may use it to run other software — AI coding agents, ssh, git, and any other command-line tool. Those tools operate independently, have their own privacy policies, send and receive data on their own (not through Terminal Champion), and are entirely your responsibility to configure and use. Terminal Champion does not inspect, proxy, log, or modify their network traffic, and integrates with no analytics, advertising, or tracking SDK. Apple's iCloud, Speech, and Push services act only as infrastructure for the optional features in Sections 4–5 and are governed by Apple's policies.
Terminal Champion data is stored on your device:
~/Library/Application Support/TerminalChampion/ and ~/Library/Preferences/.Nothing is transmitted off your device except (a) the SSH traffic you initiate to your own servers and (b) the optional iCloud sync to your own account described in Section 4.
Persisted state (tabs, groups, scrollback, settings, saved commands) is retained until you remove it, so your workspace survives restarts. You may clear or modify it at any time:
Because Terminal Champion data lives on your device, deletion is a local operation:
/Applications, then delete ~/Library/Application Support/TerminalChampion/ and ~/Library/Preferences/com.terminalchampion.app.plist. If you saved credentials, remove the com.terminalchampion.app entries in Keychain Access.app.Because we store no data off your device, no further action is required, and there is nothing for us to delete on our side.
Terminal Champion declares only the capabilities required for its features. On macOS these include the App Sandbox, user-selected file access, child-process inheritance, and outbound network access. On iPhone these include the permissions in Section 5 plus iCloud (CloudKit) and Push Notifications for the optional features in Section 4. No entitlement or permission is used for background data collection, tracking, or analytics.
Terminal Champion is a developer productivity tool intended for users 13 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone — including children — because we do not collect personal information at all.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights under applicable data-protection law (such as the California Consumer Privacy Act or the EU General Data Protection Regulation) to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your personal information. Because Terminal Champion does not collect or process personal information about you, there is nothing for us to access, correct, delete, or restrict — your data is already under your sole control on your own device and iCloud account, and you can delete it at any time using the steps in Section 9.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this document and post the new version at this URL. Material changes will be called out in the App's release notes.
